SitSignal Guides

How to join the SitSignal beta (iOS & Android)

SitSignal has apps for both pet parents and sitters. You can grab the stable public versions now, or join the beta to try upcoming features early. Everything starts at sitsignal.com/apps.

Start on the apps page

sitsignal.com/apps is the hub for every download and beta signup. From there you can:

  • Download the stable iOS Client app
  • Download the stable iOS Sitter app
  • Open TestFlight beta links
  • Request Android beta access

Bookmark it — it updates whenever new builds ship.

Join the iOS beta (Client or Sitter)

Apple's TestFlight distributes the iOS betas.

  • Install TestFlight from the App Store
  • Go to sitsignal.com/apps
  • Choose the Client or Sitter beta link
  • Tap “Open in TestFlight”
  • Tap Install

TestFlight updates automatically, so you always have the latest beta.

Join the Android beta

Android beta access is request-based.

  • Visit sitsignal.com/apps
  • Follow the Android beta instructions
  • Submit a request via Support if needed
  • Install once you're approved

Give the Google account email tied to your Android device so access syncs correctly.

Live vs beta

  • Live App Store version: fully stable, best for everyday use, minimal experimental changes.
  • Beta version: early access to unreleased features and UI refinements, with the occasional bug that comes with testing.

Want stability? Stay on live. Want early features and to help improve the app? Try the beta.

Send beta feedback

When reporting an issue, include what you were trying to do, what happened instead, your device model, your OS version, and a screenshot if you have one. iOS users can send feedback right in TestFlight; Android users contact Support.

Leaving the beta

iOS: open TestFlight, select SitSignal, tap Stop Testing, then install the public App Store version. Android: uninstall the beta app and install the public version when it's available.

FAQ

Do I need a separate account for the beta?

No. Your existing SitSignal login works for both versions.

Is the beta safe?

Yes, though it may include experimental features. If you need maximum stability, use the public App Store version.

Where do I find the latest app links?

Always sitsignal.com/apps — it's the authoritative source.
